Meg Illingworth
Growing up around horses from a very young age, Meg developed a deep-rooted passion for show jumping that has shaped both her career and life. Over the years, Meg has successfully competed up to 1.30m, earning notable results and gaining valuable experience in the ring.
While she enjoys competing, her predominant focus lies in the production of young horses. She specialises in bringing on talented 4–6-year-olds, guiding them through their formative stages and achieving consistent placings across national and international age classes. Helping young horses build confidence, develop correct foundations, and reach their potential is a part of the sport she finds especially rewarding.
Meg's genuine love for horses drives everything she does, both in the saddle and beyond. Alongside her show-jumping career, she is currently completing a degree in veterinary physiotherapy, deepening her understanding of equine health, performance, and welfare. This academic background enhances her training approach and allows her to support each horse as an individual, prioritising their physical and mental well-being.
